Who you are:

As a Senior Marketing Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in brand activations and ensuring consistency of messaging across all media and campaigns. Acting as a liaison between the business function leaders and marketing, you will assist in the translation of overall business needs into alignment with Geotab’s corporate brand strategy.

What you'll do:

You’ll support the assessment of the overall health and strength of Geotab’s brand and suggest changes or improvements to keep us at the forefront of the industry. You’ll bring new thinking and innovation to further strengthen Geotab's brand recognition, loyalty and equity. You will take direct responsibility for project deliverables, including campaign execution, success stories, events coordination and web content management. You'll wear a Scrum Master-like hat, enabling our marketing team to self-organize within our campaign and content activation workflows, bringing best practices and process improvements. You will be a tactical marketing expert, accountable for implementing, monitoring and reporting on the success of the marketing initiatives.

How you'll make an impact

  • Partner with the regional team and broader organization to support the regional brand campaign strategies, sales pipeline, revenue targets, product launches and overall impact of marketing strategy, and budgets.
  • Drive digital marketing efforts, utilizing advanced techniques in SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and online advertising to increase visibility and engagement across all digital platforms.
  • Provide assistance on special projects and creative campaigns: brainstorming ideas, concepts, writing messaging, maintaining brand alignment, and tracking deliverables.
  • Planning and overseeing the execution of different types of events in Australia.
  • Collaborate with external agencies and internal departments on creative briefs and support global strategic initiatives, such as creating and localizing landing pages, e-books and PR distribution delivered on time, to specification and on budget.
  • Manage the content calendar, content resource library, newsletter and publishing associated content, optimizing as business requirements evolve.
  • Effectively identify and manage relationships with both new and existing industry associations.
  • Development and maintain processes for activations, including success stories, brand naming, templates, guidelines, and playbooks.
  • Manage and maintain brand guidelines/architecture in collaboration with Content Marketing (tone of voice), Creative Services (visual identity) and Strategic Communications (vision/mission).
  • Facilitate self-organization within our campaign and content workflows and be the liaison for content services requests, routing across the business as appropriate.
  • Analyzing marketing data (e.g. campaign results, click-through, engagement and conversion rates) to help shape future marketing strategies.

What you'll bring to the role

  • 8+ years of experience in a tech company
  • Strong project management skills; able to identify needs, develop effective solutions and manage projects through to completion.
  • Able to work well under pressure and respond to fast changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Technical competence using workflow tools (WRIKE, Jira), CRMs (Salesforce), social media tools (Hootsuite, Sprout Social etc.), Marketing automation tools (Pardot, Zoho Campaigns, Mailchimp). As well as other software programs such as Google workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides).
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfortable in a flat organization.

When working from home, you are required to have a reliable internet connection with at least 50mb DL/10mb UL.
