• Salary: up to $4,500 (depending on experience)

Senior Marketing Executive (Healthcare/Ophthalmology)

Our client, a leading Japanese manufacturer in the imaging and camera industry, is looking for a Senior Marketing Executive with extensive experience in marketing ophthalmic equipment and life science products to help drive growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in organizing events and exhibitions, engaging with customers, and developing impactful marketing materials in collaboration with customers, distributors, and headquarters. This role focuses on promoting the value of their products and persuading customers to choose their solutions that best meet their needs. The primary responsibility is to support distributor sales and marketing efforts, with the details outlined below.

(1) Marketing activities for exhibitions in the APAC region:

  • Engage and negotiate with congress organizers
  • Coordinate booth setup with vendors and the marketing team
  • Plan and organize symposiums, including communication with speakers
  • Develop advertisements and necessary promotional materials
  • Work with distributors to manage local arrangements

(2) Organizing events in Asia:

  • Plan and coordinate Pan-Asia events such as webinars
  • Organize workshops and seminars in collaboration with distributors in each country
  • Invite international speakers to Asian countries

(3) Sharing the latest information:

  • Obtain the latest information through regular communication with headquarters
  • Compile, summarize, and share relevant details with distributors to support their sales and marketing activities

(4) Develop promotional materials:

  • Collect requirements from distributors
  • Develop promotional materials for both customers and distributors.

(5) Others:

  • Establish and nurture strong working relationships with distributors and internal teams
  • Monitor distributor activities and implement strategies to promote products effectively
  • Gain market insights and track competitor activities and products
  • Build connections with key opinion leaders and distributors
  • Engage with customers to discuss case studies and highlight the benefits of the products
  • Create and update training materials for distributors
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance product knowledge
  • Plan and organize work schedules, including weekly and monthly timetables

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience promoting ophthalmic equipment/life science products for medical practices, hospitals, and academia
  • Experience in Ophthalmic equipment
  • Knowledge of ophthalmological diseases, diagnostic and treatment methods. Knowledge of life science would be a plus
  • Proven B-to-B marketing experience
  • Proven experience in planning and organizing exhibitions and events
  • Candidate must possess strong written and verbal English communication skills. Proficiency in other languages is advantageous. Excellent communication skills are essential
