About the role

As part of our shift towards innovation and growth, Wine Portal is looking for a Marketing Executive to undertake events and marketing projects to build prominent brand awareness. You will organize promotional wine events and creative marketing campaigns that can make a difference in our company’s success according to trends and customer interests.

Job Description

• Support Head of Marketing with conceptualization, planning, logistics and execution of all events
• Work closely with relevant internal departments to organize the different formats of events, to ensure we meet ticket sales target
• Manage events administration
• Organize and execute marketing plans, advertising, activations and events
• Work closely with cross departments to streamline messages in digital and offline marketing collaterals
• Work closely with in-house designers to design marketing materials such as brochures, social media posts, eDMs, website banners etc
• Write and proofread marketing copy for both online and print campaigns
• Occasionally required to design simple collaterals via Canvas
• Produce and manage social media content, including videos and blog posts
• Maintain and update customer databases
• Review and evaluate post-marketing campaigns for improvements
• Perform market research on brand awareness, competitor activities, and market trends

Qualifications

• Min 3 years of work experience, preferably in the wine or spirits, or hospitality industry
• Experience in planning and organizing wine related events and diners
• Preferably Bachelor degree holder or above, or equivalent
• Some knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator, or Canvas
• Working knowledge of using social media marketing dashboards i.e Meta Business Suite, Ads Manager etc
• Working knowledge of using e-commerce and CRM platforms such as Shopify and Mailchimp
• Proficiency in English: Writing and speaking
• Organized, meticulous, results-oriented and can handle stress and tight deadlines
• Wine knowledge is a plus
