Senior Marine Insurance Broker

This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who excels in providing end-to-end risk management, insurance services, and client relationship management to the maritime sector. If you have a deep understanding of marine insurance products, including H&M and P&I insurance lines, a strong industry network, and a proven track record in broking, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Brief:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including shipowners, cargo owners, freight forwarders, and marine operators.
• Assess clients' insurance needs and provide customized risk management solutions.
• Negotiate terms and pricing with insurers and underwriters to obtain optimal coverage.
• Manage the placement and renewal of marine insurance policies, including Hull & Machinery, Protection & Indemnity (P&I), Cargo, and Marine Liability.
• Ensure prompt and efficient claims handling, working closely with claims teams to support clients.
• Stay updated on market trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to provide informed advice.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including risk analysts and legal advisors, to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
• Prepare and present proposals, reports, and policy documentation for clients.

Requirements:

• Strong grasp of the English language and results driven.
• Proven track record of achieving targets and driving growth in competitive markets.
• Excellent negotiating, networking, influencing, and organizational skills, as well as a strong interpersonal ability to build relationships across all levels.
