Senior Manager, Sustainability

As aSenior Manager, Sustainability,you will be responsible for Sustainability Reporting, Environmental and Social initiatives . It entails supporting and coordinate initiatives and reporting across overseas offices in addition to NCS Singapore to create awareness, engagement and communications.

What will you do?

Establish Sustainability Governance

• Support Director Sustainability to establish the governance (policies, framework and processes) to meet the objectives of NCS sustainability pledge of harnessing technology for Good, for climate and communities by rallying our people, our clients and our partners.

Environmental and Climate Action

• Work with stakeholders to establish, and track environmental targets and decarbonization projects
• Support internal environmental management programmes (e.g. internal carbon pricing, recycling, environmental comms, training programmes for different business areas/operations etc.)
• Perform data collation, analysis and reporting for Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3
• Achieve relevant accreditation and data assurance

Integrate Sustainability into NCS Operations and Stakeholder Engagement

• Engage with various stakeholders with NCS to embed sustainability KPIs and implement changes into our business operations.
• Guide departments such as IT, building management and LOBs/CSUs in strengthening our environmental stewardship, waste management and to improve circularity in NCS.
• Support and collaborate with CSU/LOBs to work on their building of sustainable products and services to enhance circularity and value creation
• Drive social initiatives that focuses on sustainability, youth and digital engagement
• Represent NCS externally on sustainability matters and engage external stakeholders include regulatory agencies and industry workgroups including Singapore Govtech Digital Sustainability Alliance.

The ideal candidate should possess:

• Minimum 5 years of working experience with system thinking skills (to co-relate and associate various aspects of sustainability)
• Experience in environmental and carbon reporting standards, and in implementing e-waste, sustainable packaging, and other circular systems
• Experience in working with commercial team to develop sustainability products and services has an added advantage
• Good understanding of environmental sustainability strategies and operational sustainability concepts.
• Strong knowledge of environmental regulations in Singapore and international environmental guidelines
• Strong knowledge in sustainability-related subjects, concepts, principles and guidelines (e.g. GRI, UNGC etc.)
• Strong data analysis skills
• Strong inter-personal and communication skills to engage diverse stakeholders
