Valvoline has a rewarding opportunity as a Senior Manager, Supply Chain COE, APAC reporting directly to the Senior Director of Global COE. This is a hybrid opportunity, 2 days remote per week.
The role will manage the APAC Supply Chain Center of Excellence (COE). The position will collaborate with the APAC Region’s supply chain team to help support best practice development. The role has overall accountability for the construction and management of an achievable, coherent, and robust set of delivery commitments within APAC Supply Chain.
- Drive the regional implementation of global processes and procedures when it comes to Operational Effectiveness, Quality, and Planning.
- Build and execute the transform agenda / roadmap within APAC supply chain to better support the VGO business growth agenda to be top player in Lubricants industry.
- Accelerate the improvement journey in leading the COE team / other SMEs, with collaboration with global COE team.
- Lead the COE SME in supporting / transforming Country Supply Chain operation and management.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Lead the COE agenda for APAC Supply chain, establishing the ways of working and standards together with the global SC COE function, e.g., Safety, Quality, Planning, value optimization, manufacturing excellence, logistics excellence etc.
- Support the APAC Supply Chain Director & Cluster SC Manager and other senior stakeholders through provision of accurate and timely information. Able to make considered recommendations to support strategic decision making.
- Understands the APAC Region Supply Chain, evaluates deficiencies, and develops improvement plans in line with VGO processes and procedures.
- Responsible for developing a strategic pipeline of efficiency optionality, owns and drives value optionality for the APAC SC.

- External consultant firms e.g., PIMS, KPMG, etc.

- Technology providers e.g., OMP, OWL, etc.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business management or alike.
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in Safety, Quality, and Planning management in supply chain environment and manufacturing function within an organization.
- Ability to communicate fluently and effectively in English and other Asian language is a plus.
- An experienced transformation and business change leader with a proven track record of delivering global world class transformation in a market leading international business. Should include:
- Experience of complex project / portfolio environments within a large, multi-site business
- Experience of managing large project budgets
- Must be able to manage multiple/conflicting priorities, appropriately prioritizing and allocating resource, with a strong track record of delivery
- Familiarity with best practice project, program and portfolio management practices
- Excellent level of understanding around performance management concepts, benchmarking and metrics
- Demonstrable track record of effective leadership of large and/ or dispersed teams
- Experience of working as part of a senior global leadership team
- Ability to own and develop relationships with senior leadership and key business stakeholders. Adept at influencing diverse individuals across multi-site operations.
- In this role there is an expectancy of 30% travel.

Licenses and Certifications
- Master Black Belt is a plus.
