This role will have responsibility for operations relating to Travel, Meetings, Expense and Payment Solutions Operations for the APAC and Emerging Markets region (Regional responsibility can change subject to alignment with GSK BU’s). Stakeholder management across all BUs and the region is key to this role in order to manage policy for meetings and travel. Close monitoring and analytics of Travel, Meetings & Expenses spend is required to optimize GSK spend. This is a high-risk category requiring duty of care.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborates with the Operations and Sourcing team to develop best in class service and optimised and cost appropriate traveller and meeting experience for GSK people.
- Establishes and manages KPI’s to ensure effective control and manage all Travel & Meetings Spend and supplier service for the region.
- Works in partnership with Country/ Region LOC Procurement (LOC’s) and Country/ Region Finance (CFO’s) team to optimise traveller and meeting owner awareness of spend and behaviour (to control spend and optimise demand in line with industry benchmarks).
- Manage meetings operations and strategy for the APAC and Emerging Markets regions.
- Agree and align on meetings forecast with key meeting stakeholders and support meeting stakeholders in developing meeting strategy for APAC and Emerging Markets.
- Manages APAC and Emerging Markets Operations for Travel including budget management.
- Corporate Card (and other relevant card products) programs including adherence to established KPIs, process optimisation, and end-user support in liaison with GM’s and CFO’s.
- Works in partnership with the Country / Region CFO’s to provide strategic direction, insight into meeting management practices and advice.
- Provide reporting and support to key travel & meetings and events stakeholders.
- Manages T&E/ Meetings & Events regional supplier relationships in line with the global suppliers strategies and initiatives.
- Implement and manage global and regional projects.
- Regional Travel & Meetings Supplier (TMC, MPA’s, air & hotel suppliers etc) management including QBR’s and communicating initiatives throughout the region.
- Proactively liaise with and manage key stakeholders and business partners to support strategy development, endorse recommended strategies and support execution alongside sourcing team.

- Bachelor’s degree.
- Min 7 years in a travel management program, category management within the travel sector.
- Min 4 years in managing a regional or global travel program.
