Join us at NParks to be part of a dynamic media relations team that spearheads strategic and integrated communications efforts for our City in Nature!
You'll be at the forefront of our integrated communications efforts, crafting compelling stories for mainstream and online media to gain mindshare and develop a greater appreciation of the exciting (and meaningful) work we do.
[What you will be working on]
As part of a driven media relations team, you will craft strategic communications plans to spotlight NParks’ initiatives, uncover fresh angles and develop captivating narratives. From drafting media releases to speeches and anticipating and managing issues, you’ll play a key role in managing NParks’ reputation and driving awareness and appreciation for our programmes and efforts.
Beyond traditional media, you'll have the chance to explore diverse content formats, from captivating videos to insightful long-form articles. As a key member of the communications team, you will also provide communications counsel to other divisions on corporate events, issues/crisis management, branding and other public communications projects.
[What we are looking for]
Areas of study: Mass Communications, Marketing, English, or related fields, coupled with at least 1 year of relevant integrated communications experience. Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may also be considered.
Experience in media relations, social media, and/or issues and crisis management
Excellent news sense, ability to think and thrive under pressure and excel at navigating interesting and complex issues.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for writing compelling narratives/stories
A team player who thrives in collaborative environments and can work independently
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and excellent command of English
