Since October 2011, Thye Hua Kwan Moral Charities (THKMC) was incorporated as a charity with an IPC status to provide multiple social and welfare services to the community at large.

THKMC provides assistance to various groups in our community through more than 60 programmes and services for the elderly and the sick, families, persons with disabilities, and children. We help anyone in need with full respect to their race, colour, creed, language, culture and religion. We have more than 90 programmes and services, reaching out to more than 55,000 people in the community.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented assistant director to assist with projects and initiatives, reporting and presenting department information to clients, leadership, and shareholders, and reviewing and updating processes and procedures. The assistant director helps to establish objectives, policies, budgets, and procedures, as well as monitoring expenses and metrics.

A successful assistant director is attentive, knowledgeable, efficient, and organized with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You should have a sound working knowledge of business regulations, standards, and practices.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Implement integrated value chain solutions focusing on complex, large-scale solutions across multiple centers.
  • Collaborate with the various center's management, outreach, and operations to deliver essential services.
  • Support and guide centers on implementations of policies and distribution points.
  • Drive continuous process improvements in the responsible centers.
  • Serve as a Single Point of Contact representing the business parties and needs in terms of service provision.
  • Manage all stakeholders required for the program (e.g., Social Work, Nursing, Ops, Corporate Development).
  • Work with the corporate development team on how to structure and sequence the different programs.
  • Review and own key deliverables.
  • Overall accountable for providing business resources to execute the program.
  • Jointly accountable for program plan, budget, risks, and stakeholder management with Ops teams.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Masters in any field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
  • Good knowledge of business regulations, standards, and procedures.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking abilities and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong people management skills, proactive and service-oriented.
  • A team player with a positive attitude, professionalism, and a strong work ethic with a high level of integrity and ethics.
