A mining and trading MNC with global presence is currently looking for a Senior Manager of Strategic Sustainability to join their expanding team to drive the company's long-term growth and sustainability by developing business strategies.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include formulating business strategies and strategic roadmap for ESG, designing and executing strategic workshops, creating and implementing strategic initiatives for business sustainability, digital transformation, risk identification, and formulating business development strategies.

As the Senior Manager of Strategic Sustainability, the incumbent will play a key role in fostering key partnership with government entities, and will be required to travel for about 30% of the year to support business requirements.

The Senior Manager of Strategic Sustainability will also be responsible to define the company's ESG goals and strategies to achieve these goals, relook into the company's ESG framework and challenge/improve it, monitoring company sustainability performance, and leading the company's sustainability reporting schedule.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Business or similar fields
• Minimum 6 years of experience in business strategy roles and ESG roles
• Deep knowledge in sustainability practices and sustainability reporting frameworks
• Comfortable with liaising with multiple external stakeholders
• Previous experience with mining industry or renewables plantation is good to have
• Willing to travel to support business requirements
• Fluency in both English and Chinese language as incumbent will need to liaise closely with China stakeholders
