To formulate holistic strategy in the areas of infrastructure and system renewal, energy efficiency initiatives, maintenance, etc.
To plan and recommend a M&E infrastructure to support the physical development of NUS campus according to the master plan.
Oversee preparation of specifications for procurement.
Assist in formulating procurement strategies for retrofit and maintenance works undertaken by Asset Enhancement.
Implement energy efficiency projects such as retrofit of chiller plant.
Formulate guidelines and policies pertaining to air conditioning, mechanical ventilation, potable water, lift, and other mechanical systems design review for old/new building installations.
Management and review of capital and operations budget.
Manage lift renewal projects.
Review of hydrant and potable reticulation system on campus.
Ensure compliance with relevant ISO and other quality procedures.
Administer maintenance contracts/agreements.
Review and update technical specifications for M&E systems.
Collaborate with academics and various offices on energy management projects.
Provide training, guides, and development plans to PSE Specialist Associates to multi-task and for job enlargement.
Qualifications
A good Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree from a recognized University, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Resourceful, with good communication skills and a team player.
Competent in ACMV and Chiller system engineering and design.
