Key Responsibilities

This role requires a highly creative and strategic thinker who can bring fresh ideas to the table and execute them with excellence. The ideal candidate will blend creativity with data-driven decision-making, crafting compelling campaigns, engaging content, and impactful events that elevate CFS’s brand and mission.

Creative Event Planning & Execution

  1. Conceptualise, plan, and execute innovative marketing campaigns and events that showcase CFS’s unique approach, educate audiences about key causes, and communicate the tangible impact of philanthropy.
  2. Develop and maintain a dynamic marketing and events calendar, integrating CFS’s initiatives with key donor, corporate, and partner events.
  3. Ensure that all campaigns and events are immersive, engaging, and strategically aligned with CFS’s advocacy, learning, and donor appreciation efforts.
Marketing & Content Development

  1. Craft compelling campaign assets, copywriting, and content that set CFS apart from other nonprofits, ensuring clear, consistent, and impactful messaging across all touchpoints.
  2. Develop storytelling-driven marketing materials that resonate with diverse audiences, from donors and corporate partners to the wider community.
  3. Maintain strong branding and visual coherence across campaigns, ensuring a distinctive and recognizable presence.
Execution & High-Quality Event Delivery

  1. Oversee end-to-end event logistics, coordinating with vendors, partners, staff, volunteers, and attendees to ensure seamless execution and high production value.
  2. Introduce creative engagement strategies to maximise audience participation and impact at events.
Campaign & Event Analysis for Impact

  1. Continuously assess, optimise, and report on campaign and event performance, using data insights to refine strategies and enhance effectiveness across multiple marketing channels.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Partnerships

  1. Work closely with internal teams and external partners to design marketing campaigns and events that amplify CFS’s reach and impact.
  2. Collaborate with different departments to develop initiatives that effectively support their objectives while maintaining a cohesive brand narrative.
Qualifications / Skills

  1. Bachelor's degree in journalism, Communications, Marketing, Business or related fields of study from a recognised university.
  2. A minimum of 8-10 years of working experience in marketing and events in an individual contributor role, preferably in or with the social impact sector.
  3. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to devise creative marketing plans that align with organisation’s mission and goals with measurable outcomes.
  5. Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and deliver projects on time and within budget.
  6. Strong stakeholder management skills.
  7. Robust problem-solving skills.
  8. High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word) and experience with Marketing automation tools such as Mailchimp.
