Job description

Responsibilities

Essential Functions
Financial accounting functions including fixed assets, payments and general ledger
Management accounting function, including preparation of monthly cost allocation, management reports and analysis
Liaise with auditors for year-end audit and preparation of audited financial statements
Preparation of quarterly GST return
Liaise with tax agent for corporate tax filing
Lead the annual budgeting and annual costing review
Secondary responsibilities and duties
Cover duties of Business Office, when necessary
Supervisory Responsibility
Supervise Finance / Business Office Executives
Participate in audit and other Finance initiatives and drive projects when necessary

Job Requirements

Degree in Accounting / ACCA or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of financial accounting experience (Full set and fixed assets experience required)
With hospital or nursing home setting experience preferred
Proficient in MS Office application (Strong in MS Excel)
Develop budget, operating plans, and forecasts together with stakeholders
Develop and establish financial policies & procedures
Drive accuracy and consistency in financial reporting
Excellent Relationship Management, planning & organisational skills
