Senior Manager - Land Survey

Manages the overall preparation of mechanical engineering designs, drawings, specifications, schedules, quantity and cost estimates for assigned projects.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform land surveying/ measurements using a variety of specialist technical equipment.
• Analyze data using plans, maps, charts, and computer applications.
• Conversant in local code and authority requirements, ensuring project compliance to the requirements.
• Verify the accuracy of survey data and drawings.
• Provide survey reports and liaise with local authorities.
• Maintain and store accurate notes, records, and drawing files.
• Control and plan daily fieldwork and operations.
• Able to tender and understand commercial projects.
• Carry out project management, planning, financial management of projects, contract administration, and ensure key deadlines are met while teamwork is effective.
• Able to perform analysis and guide land surveyors to analyze and provide technical advice and solutions when working with stakeholders.
• Liaise with multiple stakeholders for civil & structure, architectural, mechanical, and electrical works.
• Ensure the smooth completion of the project within schedule and budget.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum degree in Civil Engineering/ Geo-Spatial Information Technology/ Land Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years in the construction industry.
• Familiar with survey scanner, drone imaging survey, and data processing.
• Good communication and writing skills; self-motivated and able to lead a team of land surveyors.
• Able to coordinate well with clients, authorities, consultants, and sub-contractors.
• Only Singaporeans.
