Senior Manager, IT Procurement Operations

Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented IT Procurement Operations Senior Manager with expertise in managing procurement systems to join our operations team. This role is responsible for overseeing procurement operations, managing vendor and stakeholder relationships, and optimizing the use of digital procurement tools to enhance purchasing efficiency.

Role & Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement lifecycle, including sourcing, evaluation, contracting, and vendor management
• Leverage procurement systems to create purchase orders, manage contracts, and track procurement activities effectively
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement processes align with organizational goals
• Negotiate terms and pricing with suppliers to secure optimal agreements and achieve cost efficiencies
• Monitor vendor performance and implement corrective measures to maintain service quality and performance standards
• Establish and nurture relationships with key suppliers to encourage collaboration and support continuous improvement efforts
• Analyze procurement data regularly to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process enhancements.
• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders regarding procurement policies, procedures, and best practices
• Stay updated on industry developments, market trends, and regulatory changes related to procurement and supply chain management

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, IT, engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of 8–10 years of experience in procurement
• Familiarity with IT procurement and experience in formulating and reviewing procurement policies is advantageous
• Proficiency in procurement system management, particularly in handling purchase-to-order, source-to-contract management, and supplier collaboration tools
• Strong negotiation skills with a proven ability to drive cost reduction initiatives
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
