Key Responsibilities

  1. Plan and execute audit procedures on key internal controls
  2. Report audit findings/results to Group Internal Audit for Americas region
  3. Formulate and agree internal control improvements with relevant process owners
  4. Participate in the audit exit meetings at the end of each audit
  5. Prepare draft internal audit reports for Group Internal Audit & Management’s review
  6. Follow-up on the status of agreed-upon audit remedial actions
  7. Foster and develop close working relationships with business units within the Group; especially the Americas region
  8. Assist in any ad-hoc investigations in Americas region and any other tasks as assigned by Global Head of Group Internal Audit
  9. This role reports directly to the Global Head of Group Internal Audit.

Key Requirements

  1. A recognised degree in Accountancy, Business or equivalent (e.g. ACCA)
  2. 10 years or more of relevant working experience, either in internal / external audit with a recognised accounting firm or public listed company
  3. Experience working with counterparts in Americas is required
  4. This role requires the post holder to travel (up to 80%) in the Americas region.
  5. Good interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written) in English. Knowledge of another regional language (e.g. Spanish, Portuguese, or French) will also be viewed favourably.
  6. Technically savvy, self-motivated and independent, and a strong team player
  7. Highly adaptable to different culture and environments
  8. Proactive and committed to meeting high professional standards
  9. Ability to work under pressure and within tight timelines.
