Senior Manager (General Affairs and finance, Construction Industry, Japanese speaking)

Location: Boon Keng/Bendemeer

Working hours: 08:00 to 17:00 (Monday to Friday)

Salary: up to $15,000 (depending on experience)

Position: Senior Manager (General Affairs, Construction Industry, Japanese speaking)

Our client, one of the largest construction companies in Japan, is seeking a Senior Manager to assist the Singapore Branch with all corporate functions.

Job Description:

General Affairs

• Launch new businesses in Singapore and other locations
• Manage and supervise local staff
• Establish construction site offices and dormitories for staff
• Support relationship building with neighboring countries
• Attend ceremonies and manage public relations
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as needed

Marketing

• Conduct market research for potential countries and projects

Bidding

• Responsible for bidding activities for future projects

Accounting

• Handle budget creation and performance management for site management expenses
• Support accounting settlements
• Confirm construction contract details
• Manage payment of construction costs and other expense settlements

Job Requirements:

• At least 3-5 years of experience managing staff
• Experience in the construction industry is a significant advantage
• Ability to independently handle a wide range of tasks including general affairs, human resources, accounting, legal affairs, etc. and willingness for business travel
• Business level Japanese language proficiency to communicate with HQ in Japan
