Senior Manager, Finance

About the Company:

Kwee Investment Office is currently seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our team and contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our family office operations. The family office invests in a range of asset classes, including equities, private equity funds, hedge funds, and fixed income.

Kwee Investment Office is a family office based in Singapore, founded by certain members of the Kwee family. The Kwee family owns and operates Pontiac Land Group, a global real estate operator and developer of luxury real estate.

Job Scope:

The Senior Finance Manager will oversee the finance, accounting, and tax aspects of Kwee Investment Office.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the preparation of financial statements / consolidated financial statements and tax reporting, certifying their accuracy and timeliness, including staying updated on regulatory changes and leading the implementation of necessary adjustments.
2. Maintain, review, and implement financial and accounting policies to ensure compliance with the Company’s policies and good governance practices and standards.
3. Provide guidance to the team regarding accounting and tax matters and work closely with auditors and service providers.
4. Ensure timely, accurate, and transparent financial reporting. Monitor liquidity and provide timely updates on cash flows and investments in relation to funding and returns.
5. Manage annual financial budgets, ensuring that cash flow needs are met.
6. Recommend strategies to ensure efficient tax structuring.
7. Oversee and review the work done by finance staff.
8. Oversee and coordinate corporate secretarial matters which are handled by external agents.
9. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Key Requirements:

1. Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business, CPA/CA/ACCA qualified.
2. More than 5 years of post-graduate working experience in a managerial position.
3. Ideally with audit experience.
4. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word.
