Senior Manager, Environmental, Social and Governance Reporting & Disclosure

JOB SUMMARY

You will oversee the production and publication of the company’s award-winning annual Sustainability Report and all other public ESG disclosures; present the company’s ESG performance and field queries from investors and other financial stakeholders. You will also be responsible for coordinating the company’s external and internal sustainability reporting to ensure that our reporting reinforces our sustainability and community engagement strategy and aligns with best practices globally.

With exceptional writing skills and a world-class understanding of the ever-changing ESG disclosure environment, the post-holder will also help the company stay aligned with the regulations of the Singapore Stock Exchange and international expectations on reporting and transparency.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for ensuring the company is positioned for and responsive to the growing expectations among internal and external stakeholders for transparent reporting on our environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.
• Ensure the continued tracking and measurement of progress across ESG goals, engagement with the ESG ratings firm community and production of formal and informal reporting initiatives (e.g., sustainability report, website, intranet, ad hoc inquiries, etc.)
• Develop, implement and manage data collection processes and track performance against established targets and metrics.
• Collaborate with Strategic Communications & Branding team to develop sustainability content for the annual Sustainability Reporting.
• Monitor reporting standards and best practices to ensure the company continues to report and disclose information consistent with industry best practices.
• This role requires strong project management skills and must collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and outside vendors/auditors to ensure the timely and successful delivery of key Sustainability reporting deliverables on time.
• Lead discrete projects to strengthen the company’s corporate reporting and disclosures.
• Monitor, assess and recommend to leadership appropriate actions in relation to ESG disclosures and corporate reporting to ensure the company adopts best practices.
• Contribute to the submissions for sustainability indices such as CDP, SPOTT and similar disclosures.
• Prepare reports, communications, and establish systems including training of teams to contribute to reporting and disclosure/understanding the benefits and requirements.
• Lead the company’s responses to questions or statements of position from external stakeholders on sustainability-related matters and collaborate closely with investor relations on appropriate responses.
• Represent the company in local and industry sustainability initiatives especially those related to ESG disclosures and corporate reporting.
• Manage the sustainability content on the company website.
• Include automation and AI where applicable to bring digital transformation in reporting and data collection processes.
• Reimagine how we share the sustainability narrative through storytelling in ESG reporting.
