Responsibilities

You will manage and maintain ICT application systems. You are decisive and driven, and take a proactive approach to managing business transformation, applications system development and operations, ICT governance and performance management, stakeholder engagement and vendor management. Success in the role will be demonstrated by your ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Plan and manage the implementation/maintenance of cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning applications for corporate domains.
  • Assist in the transformation of business processes through the innovative use of ICT to bring about impactful changes.
  • Assist in developing strategic ICT plans to serve as blueprints for ICT development for the entity.
  • Ensure effective delivery of ICT application services, managing from project conceptualisation through to operations, to meet the business needs of the entity.
  • Manage the procurement of ICT products and services, as well as vendor services and contracts, to ensure ICT services are delivered on time, within budget and meet business requirements.
  • Proactively engage stakeholders and partners to influence the alignment of strategies and directions, manage expectations and achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the development and compliance to policies and standards to ensure proper governance, financial and performance management.

Job Requirements

We are looking for self-motivated individuals who value integrity, teamwork and take pride in going the extra mile to provide excellent service to stakeholders and the community. This individual should be a sport advocate through living an active lifestyle and staying active.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Background in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant ICT experience, including minimum 4 years' experience in leading ICT application projects and having gone through at least one full application implementation and maintenance cycle.
  • Demonstrated experience in planning and managing the implementation and maintenance of cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning applications.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and vendor management skills.
  • Strong analytical, conceptualisation, problem solving and project management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • An adaptable and bold individual who dares to try new things and take smart risks.
  • Motivated by innovation to achieve business goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Preferably with knowledge of government ICT policies and familiar with government procurement.
  • Relevant certifications such as PMBOK, PRINCE2 and CMMI will be an added advantage.

The level of offer will commensurate with applicants’ experience and track records. Successful candidates will be offered a 2 year contract, with potential for longer term employment beyond the initial contract.
