JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead a team of production staff to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Manage, motivate, and develop a team of production staff in areas such as education, behaviour, and fairness.
• Maintain good relationships between management and workers.
• Create a master plan for the Machine Tools Department.
• Execute production activities according to the master plan.
• Control production variable costs and expenses to maintain P/L.
• Ensure plant-wide safety, productivity, good factory housekeeping, and serviceability of all production machines and equipment.
• Monitor production quality, cost, and timely shipment to ensure a good reputation with customers.
• Perform other responsibilities assigned by management as needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum Degree in Engineering.
• At least 10 years’ experience, preferably in a machine tool environment.
• Good presentation and interpersonal negotiation skills, with knowledge in planning, accounting, human resources, and factory automation.
• Excellent leadership qualities, strong teamwork spirit, proactive, and initiative-driven.
• Qualifications in production techniques such as 5S, Safety, and ISO 9001 are an added advantage.
• Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Resourceful and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Experience in managing a production assembly team of at least 150 headcounts.
• Experience in the manufacturing and assembly of heavy industrial machines.
