Job description
As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will need to build market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.
One of the key responsibilities will be to locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities through:
Achieving business development in accordance with business goals so as to deliver maximum margin.
Being accountable for new and potential customer/business revenue with high impact to the overall profitability of the Company.
Making accurate decisions, recommendations, and successful establishment of new businesses.
Proactively identifying and developing win-win sales relationships with new and potential customers.
Providing customers with specific advice/information to the BD Director to facilitate business performance review, evaluation, and budgeting.
Providing support to devise, fine-tune, and implement overall sales and marketing strategy and directives.
Developing assigned vertical market and achieving set goals by DHL.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role you will need to have the following competencies/experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration/Logistics preferred.
Minimum 5 to 8 years’ experience in the supply chain industry.
Experience in Key Accounts Management.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Proven ability to manage and develop relationships and negotiate at all levels of management in a customer organization.
