Job Purpose
The candidate will lead a team to deliver projects and carry out operational support of systems in the University Campus Infrastructure domain. He/she will work closely with the user community, external vendors, and other stakeholders to achieve the desired objectives. This is a key role that would see technology implementations on impact areas such as Facility Management, Safety & Security, Corporate Administration, and in situations where candidates have the requisite skillset - OT/IT related systems. An immediate and primary responsibility of the candidate is to lead team members in the implementation of the Campus Wide Next Generation Door Access initiative. This is a major project that leverages mobile technology and facial recognition for authentication of physical access. While the individual will grow in-depth business knowledge in the above-mentioned business domain, he/she may be assigned to deliver IT projects of other business domains.
