Senior Manager / Assistant General Manager, IT

Job Responsibilities

Job summary: Manage the company’s Cloud hosting, applications provisioning and fine-tuning to achieve high system up-time and good performance with well secured network.

Responsibilities:

• Implement CI/CD workflow on new docker based environment
• Manage Oracle OCI cloud design architecture that aligns with organisation goals - (Oracle/AZURE preferred)
• Ensure effective server governance and compliance with industry standards and corporate policies
• Manage vendors to optimise ROI (return of Investments)
• Executing cost-effective solutions by leveraging new technologies, sourcing opportunities & benefits
• Engage the Applications team on system improvements and perform housekeeping tasks
• Provide regional IT support and Deployment to agents and subsidiaries or branch offices
• Co-ordinate with branches to conform to corporate standard and policy
• Provide quick resolution and improve productivity at branch offices through support from Regional IT Offices
• Lead, guide and manage team and business stakeholders to foster a collaborative work environment
• Seek continuous improvements by developing policy/process and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gain trust/confidence on delivery
• Establish structured and well-defined policy/process to ensure full compliance

Job Requirements

• Possess IT professional background with application knowledge, proven leadership and technical skills (i.e., at least 15 years experience).
• Oracle or Azure cloud architect certification or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Studies or Electronic Engineering or equivalent
