Position: Senior Management Information Systems IT Manager (MIS/ Strategy/Retail Industry)

Location: Changi Business park

Working hours: 5 days work week; Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm

Salary: Basic up to $9,500 + Performance Bonus

Duration: Permanent

Industry: Financial Technology (FinTech) Industry

Main Responsibilities:

1. Work with stakeholders to identify business needs and requirements
2. Develop and execute the MIS strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals
3. Identify emerging technologies and trends to enhance our MIS capabilities
4. Lead the design, implementation and maintenance of information systems as part of SDLC and data management practices
5. Ensure the security, integrity and accessibility of data
6. Write functional and technical documentation for applications and reporting solutions
7. Perform system architecture design and code reviews to ensure high-quality code standards
8. Establish data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance and quality of data protection and privacy
9. Implement data analytics initiatives to support strategic planning and operational efficiency
10. Drive continuous improvements and lead initiatives for system enhancement and process optimization
11. Lead and mentor the team in defining project requirements, tracking, functional documentation and training materials
12. Work with relevant stakeholders on user acceptance testing
13. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to enhance data literacy across the organization
14. Plan and conduct end-user training
15. Evaluate and recommend technology investment, manage budget ensuring efficient allocation of resources
16. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices

Requirements:

1. Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent
2. Minimum 8 years of experience in MIS with at least 5 years in a leadership role
3. Proven track record in project management and system implementation
4. Strong understanding of database management, data analytics and information systems architecture
5. Preferably with experience in POS or Retail industry
6. Bilingual in English & Mandarin to liaise with associates who can only speak Mandarin
