Position: Senior Lecturer in Audiology
Department: MSc Audiology Program, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine
Location: Singapore

The National University of Singapore (NUS), a global leader in higher education and research, invites dynamic and accomplished individuals to apply for the position of Senior Lecturer in the MSc Audiology program. We are looking for candidates with expertise in Electrophysiology, Paediatrics, and Research to join our dedicated and innovative teaching faculty. Position Overview:

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of audiologists through teaching, research, and clinical training. The position involves delivering high-quality education, guiding students in both theoretical and practical aspects of audiology, and conducting impactful research in audiology and related areas. The level of appointment will be at Senior Lecturer and commensurate with the candidate's experience and track record in education, leadership, delivery and research. Interested candidates with extensive teaching experience and an outstanding CV may be considered for higher position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teaching: Deliver high-quality courses in areas such as Electrophysiology and Paediatrics, for the MSc Audiology programme, utilizing innovative teaching methods to engage and inspire students.
  • Research: Supervision for MSc or PhD students.
  • Clinical Supervision: Mentor and supervise students in clinical placements, ensuring they gain practical experience and skills.
  • Curriculum Development: Contribute to the ongoing development and enhancement of the audiology curriculum.
  • Service: Participate in departmental, faculty, and university service activities, including committee work and community outreach. Contributing to academic leadership, including committee work and program administration.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A PhD in Audiology, Hearing Sciences, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of academic and/or clinical experience in audiology, with a strong emphasis on Electrophysiology, Paediatrics, and Research.
  • A track record of excellence in teaching and curriculum development at the graduate level.
  • Evidence of research productivity, including publications in peer-reviewed journals and conference presentations.
  • Experience in securing research grants and leading research teams is an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and mentor students.
