Roles and Responsibilities

The incumbent shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following scope of tasks and duties:

  • Assist in the discussion with Business Groups to review the Functional Competency Maps
  • Discuss with Business Groups to develop and implement the Learning Roadmaps
  • Review with stakeholders to determine the requirements and administer the completion of compulsory training
  • Organise regular meetings with Business Groups to update the training status and projects
  • Organise SLNG101 programme and workshop for new hires
  • Assist to contextualise and implement in-house programmes for People Managers and targeted employees
  • Discuss with Business Group and internal subject matter experts / external training providers to organise in-house training / sharing sessions
  • Identify the learning outcomes and develop the agenda with requestors and providers to organise external and overseas visits
  • Provide advice / coaching to Business Groups on Individual Development Plan and Learning matters
  • Assist with the facilitation of Train-the-Trainer programmes for OJT developers, trainers and assessors
  • Administer external course requests for employees on the approvals, course registrations, payments, evaluation and record update in Learning Management System
  • Lead in the operation and enhancement of SucessFactors and in-house IT systems
  • Update Learning and Development activities in SLNG Employee Handbook and in-house shared folders
  • Participate in all internal and external audits

Work Experiences

  • At least 5 years' relevant experience in L&D role, preferably in Process or Engineering related industry
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills - able to communicate with impact, clarity and empathy
  • Have a growth mindset and able to adapt to changes based on the business requirements
  • Able to build trust and establish credibility by gaining confidence of stakeholders
  • Prior experience in using SAP SucessFactors CDP and LMS modules will be an advantage

Education Requirements

  • Degree / Diploma in Business or Engineering related from a reputable institution
  • Certification in Adult Education or Train-the-Trainer is preferred
