Senior/Lead Software Engineer

We are hiring for an experienced Software Tech Lead with a solid background in hands-on software engineering to drive key initiatives of our ecosystem.
You are the forefront of pioneering experimental technology adoption, streamlining operations, and developing innovative tools that directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.

Salary up to $15k + AWS + VB

• Working with an established product delivery team (about 20 with room to grow to 30)
• Open and freedom to explore and work on meaningful projects

Tech Stacks:

• Front-End: React; Back-End: NodeJS, SQL DB and Elastic Search; Source Control: Gitlab
• Programming Languages: TypeScript, Python
• Infrastructure: AWS and Terraform

Responsibilities:

1. Spearhead the integration of experimental technologies and best practices within the software ecosystem, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and maximizing impact.
2. Oversee the development of high-quality, scalable web and mobile applications by championing the delivery of seamless user experiences and robust performance.
3. Take charge of building tools from 0 to 1, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create bespoke solutions that address specific operational needs and improve system functionalities.
4. Manage, mentor, and inspire a talented engineering team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance and growth. Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
5. Focus on developing solutions that streamline internal workflows and enhance the organization's ability to operate efficiently.

• Proven expertise in software engineering, with experience in building and scaling web and mobile applications.
• Ability to lead teams, set clear goals, and promote a culture of collaboration.
• Demonstrated ability to adopt best practices in software development and technology adoption.
