Senior IT DevOps Engineer

Work schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM
• Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 6:00 PM
• Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM (only one Saturday per month)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Update IT security policies, governance, and risk management processes with the HOD. Support IT audits as needed.
• Manage vendors to design and implement IT systems, ensuring compliance with security, development, and deployment guidelines.
• Troubleshoot issues across development, testing, and production environments.
• Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
• Ensure security and compliance across infrastructure and software deployments.
• Oversee vendors for system operations, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Support IT helpdesk activities and track IT ticket resolutions.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in DevOps or similar IT roles.
• 2+ years in ERP (preferably Synergix), HR systems, MS SharePoint, and corporate website administration.
• 1-2 years in project management (PMI certification/Agile experience is a plus).
• 3+ years managing vendors, negotiating contracts, and monitoring SLAs.
• Experience with AWS/Azure and process automation (Python, C++, RPA tools, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills.
