Our client is a well-established FMCG firm and we are currently looking for a Senior Internal Audit Manager to join them.

About the job
Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will lead a team and oversee the entire audit process, from planning through to report finalization. Your role will involve managing risk-based audit plans, leading audit engagements, and ensuring the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management practices. Additionally, you will spearhead transformation within the internal audit function by leveraging digital and technology audit capabilities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. You will also be responsible for conducting ad-hoc investigations or assurance reviews as required. With the business focusing on expanding its e-commerce operations, you will play a key role in identifying and addressing risks associated with these initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker who can pinpoint critical issues and develop frameworks to address them. Proficiency with data tools, the ability to introduce new ideas, and drive changes in internal audit practices are essential. Experience in agile auditing methodologies and an understanding of how digital transformation can advance the internal audit function are also highly valued.

Skills and experience required

A recognized degree, along with a professional certification such as CA, CIA, CISA, or an equivalent, is required, along with at least 10 years of relevant experience. Candidates must have prior experience in team management and expertise in data analytics tools.
