Senior Interior (FF & E) Designer

About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior (FF & E) Designer to join our dynamic team at WOW Architects Pte Ltd. As a leading firm in the industry, we pride ourselves on creating exceptional interior spaces that combine functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.

Reporting directly to the Directors, you will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to translate our client's vision into innovative and practical design solutions. Your expertise in space planning, material selection, and project management will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of our projects.

What you'll be doing

You will be directly responsible for all aspects of the FF & E Design Process on Hospitality and Residential projects including working with the senior designer to establish the FF&E design direction, leadership of a team of designers, client presentations, selections, organisation and presentation of materials and FF&E for ID and Architecture projects. You will further be responsible for :

• Sourcing, specifying, coordinating and presenting materials and products including the maintenance and the updating of material library.
• Production of design drawings, co-ordination of technical and production of tender/construction documents and site co-ordination.
• Checking of shop drawings and production drawings.
• Inspection of prototypes and placement of FF&E at site.
• Maintaining and updating rate list for different geographies of all materials contained in the FF & E library.
• Taking instructions from the Project Directors regarding their FFE requirements on both Architecture and ID projects.

What we're looking for

• Competent knowledge and natural passion for excellence in design.
• Meticulous and highly organised and efficient.
• 8-10 years relevant experience in hospitality/residential and lifestyle design industry.
• Appreciation for international art and culture.
• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture from recognized universities.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, Microsoft Excel, 3D Modelling.
• Well networked with local vendors and suppliers.
• Ability to develop relationship with international vendors and suppliers.
• Represent the Company externally and contribute to WOW's professional reputation and high level of attention to detail.
• International work experience.
