Job Summary:

The Senior Trackwork Interface Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the interfaces between various railway infrastructure disciplines and the trackwork. This role ensures the seamless integration of track-related activities with other engineering disciplines, maintaining high standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interface Management: Coordinate and manage the interfaces between trackwork and other engineering disciplines, system assurance, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with Civils and SWCs. Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of trackwork projects, ensuring alignment with overall project goals and timelines.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with trackwork interfaces, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including contractors, engineers, and regulatory bodies, to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes for trackwork, ensuring adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical expertise and support to project teams, addressing any issues related to trackwork interfaces.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including interface management plans, interface control documents, risk assessments, Isolation and Energisation Plans and progress reports.
  • Compliance: Ensure all trackwork activities comply with relevant standards, LTA requirements and best practices.

Requirements:

  1. Qualifications:
    • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, or a related field.
    • Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience in the railway industry, full-time and based locally.
    • Skills:
      • Strong project management and coordination skills.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
      • In-depth knowledge of Singapore railway safety standards and regulations.
      • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Additional Information:

  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required to project sites and stakeholder meetings.
  • Work Environment: Combination of office and field work, with exposure to construction sites and railway environments.
