Senior Infrastructure Engineer

We are representing our client, a surgical optics company headquartered in Singapore, to identify suitable candidates for the role of Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer.

SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the organization's on-premises IT infrastructure, including domain controllers, Office 365, virtualization, storage & backup, and cloud support.
• Manage server roles and features such as AD, DNS, DHCP, and file services.
• Manage and maintain VMware vSphere environments.
• Storage and backup management.
• Azure cloud management.
• Project management, documentation, and reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure management.
• Professional certifications such as VCP, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified (e.g., Windows Server Administration, Azure Administrator Associate) are highly desirable.
• Strong technical expertise in Domain Controller, Office 365, VMware, NetApp storage, and Veeam backup.
• Experience in a Linux environment is a plus.
• Ability to express thoughts and complex IT solutions clearly and in a simplified manner.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
