Senior Industrial Designer

We are representing our client, an exciting startup in the electrical consumer space, to look for a Senior Industrial Designer.

In this full-time role, you will be responsible for creating innovative and user-centric product designs that align with the company's strategic objectives.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the design process from concept to final product development, ensuring designs meet functional, aesthetic, and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers and marketing, to translate product requirements into effective design solutions.
• Conduct market research and user testing to inform the design process and ensure designs meet customer needs.
• Create detailed design specifications, prototypes, and 3D models to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in industrial design to drive innovation.
• Mentor and provide guidance to more junior designers within the team.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience as an Industrial Designer, preferably in a fast-paced, consumer-focused environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing a range of successful product designs, with a focus on user-centric and innovative solutions.
• Proficiency in design software such as CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modelling tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and creative thinking skills.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, materials, manufacturing processes, and design best practices.
