Job Description Summary
As a Senior HR People Partner, you will drive business success by aligning HR strategies with organizational goals and shaping the future of talent. Reporting to the People Partner Director, you'll be involved in leading key initiatives in organization design, employee relations, performance management, and leadership development. Partnering with HR Centres of Excellence, you’ll craft innovative solutions, leverage data insights, and spearhead transformative HR projects. Job Description
What you will do:
Align people strategies with business goals and design effective organizational solutions.
Partner with leaders to implement strategies driving growth, excellence, and performance.
Provide insights on people initiatives, metrics, trends, and regulatory updates using data analytics.
Coach and counsel leaders, offering timely solutions for retention, engagement, performance, and employee relations.
Maintain integrity and professionalism, championing progressive people practices.
Deliver end-to-end HR services across workforce planning, onboarding, talent acquisition, succession management, leadership development, and diversity & inclusion.
Drive annual talent and performance management processes aligned with business priorities.
Collaborate with HR COEs to provide a seamless HR experience and address market trends.
Mitigate risks of talent loss by leveraging internal talent and local market insights to attract and retain top talent.
Promote employee engagement, diversity, and inclusion while enhancing the Employer Brand.
Ensure compliance with local employment laws and required training on performance, safety, and inclusion.
Address employee concerns promptly to minimize risk.
Conduct investigations, ensuring best practices and legal compliance.
Collaborate with leaders on restructures, ensuring legal and commercial alignment.
Work with legal counsel on complex issues.
Manage performance for underperforming employees, including developing Improvement Plans.
Strengthen industrial relations by handling grievances, conflicts, and negotiating agreements.
Manage legal risks and represent the organization in conciliation or mediation.
Prepare materials for hearings, involving external counsel as needed.
About You:
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 8 years of experience as an HR generalist, with a strong background in organizational design, change management, and talent development within a multinational organization (with exposure to facilities management, manufacturing or blue-collar environments preferred).
Familiarity with navigating a matrix organization and the HR Tier Services/shared services Model.
Demonstrated success in leading HR and business projects, including process improvement and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
In-depth understanding of Singapore’s employment laws and regulatory landscape.
Strong presence with the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
Skilled in qualitative, analytical, and statistical analysis, with advanced proficiency in spreadsheets.
Ability to thrive in complex, ambiguous situations with a positive and solution-focused mindset.
