A Japanese multinational corporation that manufactures and sells construction equipment is looking for a Senior HR Manager.

Your new role

Reporting to the Corporate Finance director and managing a team of 2, your role as the Senior HR Manager includes but is not limited to the following:

1. Design and implement HR initiatives aligned with business needs and HR strategy, partnering with department heads to foster effective communication and understanding of specific needs of each department.
2. Engage, support, and provide HR advice to management to meet business needs and company goals.
3. Lead, mentor, and develop the HR team to ensure effective execution of HR strategies and initiatives to support business needs.
4. Oversee and manage the staff recruitment process and drive employee development through learning and development programs to build leadership capabilities and talent pipelines.
5. Prepare and manage the compensation structure to ensure it is competitive and aligned with industry standards. Manage benefits administration and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
6. Ensure HR policies and practices, corporate governance, and workplace safety regulations comply with labor laws and regulations. Regularly review and update policies to align with industry best practices.
7. Prepare, manage, and analyze the department budget to ensure resources are utilized effectively and within budget.
8. Oversee building and facilities management and general administrative functions to maintain organizational efficiency.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum bachelor's degree with 8 years of working experience, preferably in a Japanese organization or manufacturing industry.
• Supervisory experience.
• Candidate with short notice preferred.
