Job description

Join the team at Safran Electronics & Defense Services Asia Pte Ltd as Senior HR Executive/ Assistant HR Manager. In this full-time position located in the Changi East Region, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality across the company's Aerospace MRO Hub.

Payroll & HRIS Administration(40% of job role)

  • Oversee the end-to-end payroll process, including data collection, calculations, and timely payments
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll-related laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Liaise with employees, HR, and Finance teams to address payroll-related queries and discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and generate detailed reports as required
  • Provide HR support in areas such as employee onboarding, benefits administration, and HR documentation
  • Candidates with Time Soft & Success-factor experiences will be an advantage.

Talent Acquisition, On boarding & Off boarding (30%)

  • Proactively build up talent pipeline
  • Lead the end to end of recruitment process from Job posting, Interview and Offer Proposal to Contract preparation and Work pass applications (where required). Being the key contact of our new hires, you represent our brand to provide a good experience to the applicants.
  • Take charge of preparing the new hires for their first day, including reviewing the Orientation Deck from time to time for key information updates.

Employee Engagement & Industrial Relations (15%)

  • Assist in Confirmation Appraisal of new hires, and the Annual Performance, Salary and Performance bonus review
  • Support on the follow up of Employee performance issue with Performance Improvement Plan (PIP)
  • Advise stakeholders on MOM regulations and company procedures
  • Update and propose related policy in relation to Human Resources
  • Support in leading the Recreation Committee to run engagement events.
  • Manage employee enquires and work closely with HR Manager on escalation of issues quickly
  • Be updated on company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to be able to advise employees.

Continue Improvement Initiatives & Change Management (15%)

  • Supporting the transformation roadmap & Change Management Initiative.
  • Any other adhoc HR matters

Education Qualification & Essential Experiences:

  • Minimum Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
  • Strong communication skills with good command of written and spoken English
  • Willingness, reliable, flexible and adaptable individual who is able to work independently
  • Meticulous and task oriented
  • 5+ years of HR experience, preferably in an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist role
  • Strong understanding of Singapore employment laws and HR best practices
