Job description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Senior HR Assistant or HR Executive to join our Human Resources team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates or individuals with 2-3 years of experience in HR compliance and labour laws.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our HR practices comply with relevant regulations and support our organizational goals.

Additionally, there may be opportunities to assist with other HR generalist tasks as needed, provided that these duties do not compromise the primary focus on compliance, contract management, and labour law adherence.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. HR Compliance: Ensure that all HR practices, policies, and procedures comply with local labour laws and regulations. Monitor changes in employment legislation and advise on necessary updates to company policies.
  2. Contract Drafting: Prepare, review, and update employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR-related documentation. Ensure that contracts are in line with legal requirements and company standards.
  3. Labor Law Adherence: Assist in managing and maintaining records related to labour law compliance. Address any queries related to employee rights and company obligations.
  4. Employee Relations: Support the HR team in handling employee relations issues and complaints. Provide guidance on employment-related matters and resolve issues in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  5. HR Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation. Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
  6. Reporting: Generate and analyse reports related to HR compliance and employee data. Provide insights and recommendations for improvements based on data analysis.
  7. Support: Assist with HR audits and inspections. Provide support to HR initiatives and projects as required.
  8. Generalist Support: Assist with other HR generalist tasks and projects as needed, ensuring that such duties do not interfere with the primary responsibilities related to compliance, contract management, and labor law adherence.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in HR compliance, labour laws, or a related area is preferred.
  3. Strong understanding of local labour laws and HR compliance requirements.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  6. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
