Senior Hardware Engineer

Brief Description & Role

The individual will have a strong background in designing, developing and testing complex hardware systems.

This position involves working across multiple phases of the product development cycle, from design to implementation. He/she should be self-motivated, resourceful and proactive, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and closely with multi-discipline professionals to support project or product development activities.

Responsibilities

1. Design and simulate electronics circuitry, including microcontrollers, SoC, DDR, wire & wireless communication interface and power supply.
2. Circuit draft and schematic capture with popular EDA tool.
3. Perform prototype testing, system integration, debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware related issues.
4. Generate documentation on design concepts, specifications, test reports and verification reports.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics, electrical or related fields).
2. At least 3 years of working experience in hardware design, development, and testing.
3. Proficiency in analog and digital circuit design.
4. Experience with high-speed PCB design and signal integrity analysis is an added advantage.
