Job Title: Senior General Manager – Thai Restaurant Chain

Location: Islandwide
Industry: Food & Beverage / Hospitality
Reporting To: Director of Operations / CEO


Job Purpose

To oversee multi-outlet operations of a Thai restaurant chain, ensuring profitability, brand consistency, and exceptional guest experiences . Lead teams, optimize costs, and drive growth through strategic planning.


Key Responsibilities

1. Operations & Financial Management

  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations across all outlets.
  • Monitor P&L, budgets, and cost controls (food cost, labor, wastage).
  • Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for consistency.
  • Analyse sales reports and adjust strategies to boost revenue .

2. Team Leadership & HR

  • Recruit, train, and mentor managers and staff (front-of-house & kitchen).
  • Foster a positive work culture aligned with Thai hospitality values.
  • Conduct performance reviews and resolve conflicts.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and workplace safety .

3. Customer Experience & Brand Standards

  • Maintain authentic Thai dining experiences (food quality, ambiance, service).
  • Handle VIP guests and resolve complaints professionally.
  • Collaborate with chefs to refresh menus based on trends/customer feedback.

4. Business Growth & Marketing

  • Work with marketing teams to promote special events (e.g., Thai festivals).
  • Identify new revenue streams (catering, meal subscriptions, partnerships).
  • Scout locations for potential new outlets (if expansion is planned).

5. Vendor & Inventory Management

  • Negotiate with suppliers for quality Thai ingredients at competitive prices.
  • Oversee inventory systems to prevent shortages/wastage.

Qualifications & Skills Required

  • Experience: Min. 10 years in F&B management
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage more than 40 staff across multiple outlets.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong grasp of P&L, cost control, and budgeting .
  • Cultural Fit: Passion for Thai cuisine and culture (experience in Thai restaurants is a big plus ).
  • Education: Degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field
