Senior Fullstack Developer

Job Description

The Software Engineer is responsible for developing software based on design requirements and ensuring that software and subroutines work to specification. Program codes must conform to standards and be delivered with quality, meeting schedule and requirements.

Project Delivery

1. Analyse process/program specifications & translate specifications to program codes, conforming to program guidelines and programming best practices.
2. Make changes to configurable items, which include hardware, software, documentation, etc. This covers configuration management planning, configuration identification, configuration controls & audits.
3. Develop a unit test package, execute tests & document test results to ensure the quality of the program.
4. Assist in integration testing, system testing, User Acceptance Test (UAT) & implementation activities to fix reported problems/bugs of the system, ensuring smooth execution of programs in the production environment.
5. Investigate all reported problems/errors & initiate amendments & testing so that the system can operate correctly & efficiently.
6. Prepare & maintain up-to-date system documentation.
7. Analyse functional requirements to translate into application design using established design methodologies and guidelines.
8. Ensure codes comply with NCS security guidelines.

Teamwork

1. Work with the technical lead to ensure design and program codes conform to architecture and design standards, and that design satisfies functional and system requirements.
2. Participate in requirements gathering; work with Business Analysts in reviewing and refining functional specifications.
3. Participate in peer reviews to improve project quality.

Requirements

1. 4-6 years of working experience in developing and delivering application software.
2. Possess initiative and disposition with a strong commitment and orientation towards results and high-quality standards.
3. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box.
4. Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Self-motivator with a positive attitude and high energy.
6. Customer focused.
7. Proficient in written and spoken English.
