Senior Frontend Developer

Role Summary

With the current innovative technology environment, our client has started an ambitious journey to modernization of its technical product offering starting with the digital e-banking. To participate to this transformation, our client is looking for an enthusiastic front-end developer to join their UI team to build amazing user experiences with Angular. The developer will apply their extensive experience with modern technologies and practices to help end-users make effective use of e-banking.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and test new features.
• Participate in constructive design discussions to deliver maintainable and practical solutions.
• Make recommendations on how to evolve the code base.
• Accurately estimate development effort.
• Squash bugs.
• Participate in peer code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s in Information Technology or relevant fields.
• At least 5 – 10 years of experience in design and development in a full stack environment.
• More than 5 years of experience doing web development primarily using Angular Framework.
• Developed and maintained high-quality responsive web applications.
• Ensured the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimized applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Knowledge on 3rd party libraries and able to update and migrate the code base.
• Participated in code reviews.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Knowledge in CI/CD pipeline and able to maintain it when necessary.
• Thorough knowledge in unit, e2e and integration testing.
• Candidate should have a good understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Excellent Problem-solving skills, self-motivated, adaptable, and goal-oriented.
• Should have good Verbal and written communication.
• Experience in working with APIs and integrating it.
• Knowledge in Banking domain.

Technical Knowledge

• Angular Framework.
• HTML, SCSS, Typescript, JavaScript.
• CI/CD using GitLab, Jenkins, Sonar, GIT, Docker, Vera Code.
• JIRA, Confluence.

Functional and Transversal Competencies

• Familiar with CI/CD of Frontend Deployment.
• Familiar with Banking Domain.
