Key Responsibilities

About the Role

You will be an integral part of our team at SATS DND (Digital and Data), designing and implementing process digitalization initiatives that streamline operations and enhance productivity through applications, automation tools and AI. In this role, you will collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, data engineers, data scientist, operations teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure seamless integration between frontend interfaces and backend services. You will provide technical expertise, optimize front-end performance and ensure standards compliance. Your efforts will be pivotal in maintaining design consistency and delivering end-to-end solutions that elevate the user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, intuitive, and visually engaging user interfaces across browsers and devices to improve user experience.
• Optimize application frontend performance to deliver fast and responsive user interfaces.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes to test and validate usability of features, maintaining a strong user-centric approach.
• Develop and maintain the design system, including style guides, design patterns, and UI specifications, to ensure consistency and reusability across our applications. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
• Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code, adhering to frontend development best practices.
• Perform testing and troubleshoot issues, root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions. Provide mentorship and help identify areas of improvements in the code base.
• Work closely with software engineers, business analyst and product managers across locations to deliver seamless user experiences.
• Participate in agile sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in frontend development and UI/UX design, applying these insights to continuously improve the user experience.
• Efficiently manage tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines in a structured and organized manner.

• Proven experience as a senior / frontend engineer or similar role with a strong portfolio of web applications projects with quality UI.
• Degree/Diploma in Computer Science or a related field, with practical experience in cloud-based web application development.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in development and support.
• Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript, with hands-on experience using modern frontend frameworks like React and Next.js.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles with the ability to design and implement intuitive, user-friendly interfaces, and a keen eye for clean and visually appealing design.
• Experience in creating design documentation, mockups, and wireframes using tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Photoshop, and translating those designs into high-quality, functional, and reusable code.
• Good understanding of web performance optimization techniques to enhance the user experience across various systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging skills, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly and effectively articulate design and technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and experience in integrating frontend components with backend services.
• Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and Git for version control, ensuring smooth and efficient development workflows.
• Skilled in working with both structured (SQL) and unstructured (NoSQL) databases.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also being a collaborative and supportive team player.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn on the job, adapt to new challenges, and stay updated with the latest technologies.
• Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks for web applications is a plus.
• Project management experience and full-stack development skills are considered a plus.
