Develop and refine products, including formulation, processing and packing labels in compliance with the regulatory requirements for local and export markets.
Collaborate with R&D team to ensure new products can be exported to target overseas market.
Conduct routine review of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products and update the relevant halal certificates.
Prepare and review technical documentations, including product specifications, quality reports and compliance documents.
Prepare and submit documentation for certification applications and maintain compliance with certification standards.
Ensure products meet relevant certifications (e.g. halal) and manage the certification process.
To be appointed as Management Representative for halal and ISO standards.
Conduct internal audit for quality and halal.
Maintain accurate records of quality contract tests, certification processes, and product development activities.
Generate regular reports on product quality, certification status, and improvement initiatives.
Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in product quality and certification processes.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
Prerequisites
Minimum 5 years of experience in food product development, food processing, or a related field.
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or a related field.
Strong understanding of food safety regulations, quality assurance practices, and sensory evaluation techniques.
Proficiency in using food processing equipment and laboratory instruments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
