Job Description:

You will be responsible for the design, development, testing and supporting of firmware/embedded software for Next Generation I/O products in accordance with engineering best practices/processes. You will also need to possess the working knowledge of creation and debugging of embedded/software applications. You will participate in or conduct technical reviews with peers to identify problems early in the development phases and will also need to demonstrate the ability to consistently meet project deliverables, and to work effectively in a diverse team environment.

Job Requirements:

• Degree / Master in Computer Science/ Embedded Systems / Computer Engineering / Electrical Electronic Engineering with concentration in the areas of Embedded Software engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in developing Real Time Embedded Systems.
• Strong knowledge in programming languages: C, C++.
• Possess certification in CERT Secure Coding in C and C++.
• Have strong knowledge in Industrial Automation, PLC Programming.
• Have experience with programming 32-bit Microcontrollers (ARM or ColdFire is preferred) and developing low-level device drivers.
• Must have development experience in the following areas for embedded systems:
• ThreadX OS.
• Industrial Communication Protocols: PCCC, DF1, Modbus, DNP3, CIP, EtherNet/IP.
• Good analysis skills and proven ability to solve complex problems. Experience in using different hardware-assisted debugging tools.
• Good knowledge and experience of Agile processes, static analysis tools, and version control tools (e.g. Git) will be an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently and as a team in a multi-cultural environment.
• Open-minded, a willingness to experiment within acceptable boundaries and a creative mind to bring novel solutions into design and problem-solving.
