Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM | Government Sector)

Job Summary:

• 2 Years Contract
• 5 Days Work Week (8.00AM to 5.45PM)

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for ensuring full compliance with fire safety regulations and overseeing the maintenance of all fire safety systems.
• Manage the building's emergency response plan, conduct regular inspections and fire drills, and ensure that fire safety certification requirements are met.
• Conduct regular inspections of all fire safety systems and equipment to ensure functionality and compliance.
• Identify and address any fire safety deficiencies to maintain adherence to regulations and ensure the fire protection systems are operating effectively.
• Organize and conduct fire drills regularly, ensuring that building occupants, including users and tenants, are familiar with evacuation procedures and ready for emergencies.
• Review and update the building’s emergency response plan as needed, considering changes in regulations, building layout, or new equipment.
• Prepare and submit the annual fire safety report to the authorities to renew the building’s fire certificate.
• Ensure all fire safety measures meet certification standards and comply with Singapore’s fire safety codes and regulations.
• Submit reports to relevant authorities regarding fire-related matters, including incidents, compliance issues, and updates on equipment maintenance.
• Carry out any additional fire safety-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor or senior management.

Job Requirement(s):

• Certified senior fire safety manager (SFSM)
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in fire safety management, facilities management, or the defence sector.
• SINGAPOREAN only
• Knowledge of fire safety codes and regulations.
