About the role:
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Oversee financial reporting and closing in compliance with US GAAP, FRS, and Group requirements.
- Analyze P&L variances, review Balance Sheet reconciliations, and support month-end closing.
Statutory Reporting & Audits
- Assist in financial statement preparation and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
- Support statutory audits with documentation and auditor inquiries.
SOX Compliance
- Ensure adherence to SOX requirements for financial processes.
- Maintain SOX documentation, conduct testing, and implement remediation plans.
Internal Controls
- Support internal audits, identify risks, and recommend improvements.
- Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.
Tax Compliance Support
- Assist with post-audit reviews and GST compliance for multiple entities.
- Coordinate with auditors and stakeholders on documentation and audit findings.
About you:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounting and/or audit.
- Proficiency in US GAAP and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
- Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in dealing with internal and external financial and regulatory audits is preferred.
- Proven ability to effectively and positively interact cross-functionally.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize to ensure deadlines are met.
- Highly adaptable and resilient, thriving on changes and challenges.
- Hands-on and a can-do attitude.
- Good interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with the ability to contribute in meetings and be well-versed in business processes and issues.
