Senior Finance Manager

This role is a key management role and a trusted business partner. This role provides financial leadership to the business, drives process reengineering, explores system enhancements, manages working capital, and meets budgets.

As part of this joint venture, the role will focus on aligning best practices, streamlining processes, and leading various finance teams toward common company goals. It provides substantial visibility and interaction with both shareholders and the management team.

Job Responsibilities:

1. CWC:
   • Direct and monitor a variety of accounting activities to ensure that the organisation’s financial resources are managed in accordance with accounting principles and comply with all relevant regulations, laws, and standards
   • Monitor and manage cashflow of the company
   • Create and maintain documentation of standard operating procedures, workflows, and accounting policies
   • Enhance internal controls and compliance according to the empowerment framework and corporate policies
   • Liaise with company auditors, manage the audit fieldwork, and prepare the audited financial statements within timelines approved by joint venture partners
   • Partner the business in financial management, budgeting, and forecasting
   • Prepare financial analysis and business cases to support business growth
   • Monthly management reporting to shareholders
   • Cashflow management
   • Financial reporting and analysis for board meetings & management meetings
   • Workflow improvement and automation
   • Team development
   • Support COO in ad hoc projects
2. B&C:
   • Full scope of financial reporting and management
   • Cash flow management
   • AP and AR management

Job Requirements:
• Degree in Accountancy, or its equivalent, with professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA)
• More than 10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
• Experience in managing a team of accounting personnel
• Excellent organisational and leadership skills
• Good problem-solving, analytical, and presentation skills
• Team player with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Deep understanding of financial regulations, Singapore Accounting Standards, and reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of SAP accounting software
