Senior Finance Manager

About the department
You will join the Finance and Operations Department, reporting to the Senior Director Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). Our team is focused on conducting the financial and accounting operations of the organisation, ensuring transparency in performance against short and long-term targets and we work closely with local and global management to drive value creation for the company. The department is located at our APAC Regional Office in Singapore, where we foster a collaborative and fast-paced atmosphere.

The position
As a Senior Finance Manager at Novo Nordisk, you will:

• Manage the overall Finance planning calendar, coordinate and consolidate input from business areas and affiliates, and ensure accurate financial reporting, including Anchor Budget /Rolling Estimate (AB/RE) budgets and Business Services & Compliance (BSC) processes.
• Utilize tools like SAP BO and BI platforms to drive improvement projects, share best practices, and enhance business intelligence across APAC.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and presentations for senior stakeholders, including the Sr. Director FP&A, VP of Finance & Operations, and APAC Management.
• Analyze business performance, propose and implement corrective actions, and contribute to resource allocation decisions to support APAC growth.
• Partner with affiliate colleagues and regional functional heads to ensure smooth planning, transparent follow-ups, and effective decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree or professional certification such as CPA, CFA preferred).
• With 5-7 years of experience in finance roles.
• Strong expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to manage AB/RE and similar financial planning processes, along with strong communication skills for collaborating with global management to drive company value creation.
