Senior Finance Manager

Key Objective of Role

This role is responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in reporting, and driving strategic financial initiatives. The role encompasses oversight of process improvements and includes oversight of treasury functions, foreign exchange management across ASEAN regions andrequires strong leadership in managing finance teams and cross-functional collaboration to support business growth. The Finance Manager acts as a strategic partner to senior management, contributing to the company's overall success by optimizing financial processes and mentoring the finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

• Oversee the preparation of Group financial statements, certifying their accuracy and timeliness, including stayingupdated on regulatory changes and lead the implementation of necessary adjustments.
• Work closely with the Head of Finance to maintain, review and implement financial and accounting policies to ensure compliance with company’s policies and good governance, practice and standards.
• Develop and present financial reports using data visualization tools.
• Identify opportunities to integrate AI into financial operations for better decision-making.
• Oversees Group treasury, banking, audit and tax matters.
• Manage company liquidity and ensure optimal allocation of funds to meet operational and strategic needs.
• Identify and implement cost-saving measures through operational efficiencies and process automation.
• Foster a culture of innovation within the finance team to adopt best practices and modern tools.
• Assist in any other finance-related matters as required.
  

Relevant Experience & Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business, CPA/CA/ACCA qualified.
• 5 years post graduate working experience in managerial position, manufacturing/construction industry is advantageous
• Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Proactive and adaptable to navigate dynamic business environments.
• A multi-tasker and learner with self-motivation and integrity.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and knowledge of data visualization tools (Power BI) for financial analysis.
